IMBolton2013 – M6

ENG: Hi!
Another week over and closer to Bolton.
In general, tired and a little bit de-motivated with the bike. I still not find out a good road to be able to ride aero (or just normal), so when It seems I getting pace and a good cadency, I have to stop in a trafic light display or the path ends or asphalt disappears.
Therefore, I feel I need more push in the biking sessions, not only in volume but also in feel like I want to take it and enjoy the trainings.
For that reason, I will start going to the office by bike this week. It is not far away to Erlangen, but I think I have to create the habit for enjoy and increase my performance in this discipline.
On the other hand, today I ran the Metropolitan Marathon of Fürth, into the Half race. I started relaxed, keeping in mind that it was a training and my body is overload, so I just jump into the runner’s (today I picked up adizero Boston 3) and run with the aim of smile during the race. Yes, to smile and enjoy it.
And I did! Was a nice morning surrounded by people running and also supporters! Race organization was a 10, definitely. Drinks and food every 4 km, a very funny route with asphalt, stones, paths, mud, hills…and the sun shining in the sky! What else?
Finally, 1h29′ with the sensation of a great training and not so tired, so perfect 🙂
And for this week, writing from a terrace with the mac, the bike behind me, a moleskine and a pen, a special iced cappuccino of Mr.Bleck and a rasperry + white chocolate biscuit, Thats all folks!!

SEMANA 5:

Swimming: 6 k – 2 sesiones
Biking: 110 k – 3 sesiones
Running: 53 k – 4 sesiones
Gym: 1 sesión

furth furth halfmarathon
SPA: Holas!

  1. This is the first year that I have trained with Alamo 180 for mathraon training and I love it!!! I have done a full mathraon and several half mathraons and I have found this training to be very helpful. Jeff does an excellent job of mixing long runs with drills and form training. In addition, he offers information about nutrition, pacing, hydration, and cross training. This has been by far the best training group I’ve been a part of. I would encourage runners of all experiences and abilities to come out and join Alamo 180. You won’t be disappointed!
