TRAINING 2014: 3 to 9 March

SPA: Holas!

Monday: Total Rest
Tuesday: Run [8k] + Swim [3.400m]
Wednesday: Gym [60′] strength + Run [8k]
Thursday: Run [6k] + Bike [2h20′] – Spinning
Friday: Run [8k] + Gym [30′] Core + Swim [2.200m] – Drills
Saturday: Bike [90k]
Sunday: Swim [3.400m] + Bike [20k] urban
TOTAL: Sw [9k] + Bi [190k] + Ru [30k] + Gym [90′]

ENG: Hi!

First long riding around Bayern with the Bike.
Yesterday we enjoyed 90k under an incredible sun shinning in the sky.
The sensations were definitely better than expected, pushing hard in some parts of the route, feeling good and checking that the spinning classes are helping a lot.

Regarding Running (trending topic in the last 2 months), I felt back into my injury on Tuesday. Apparently was nice but after a smoothy running on fasting the knee shout again.
Im going to avoid the running during week, because I can’t delay more the recovery or it will affect seriously to the rest of the season.

On the Swimming, things are going great. Going faster than my former pace and feeling a level up every week. Nevertheless, we have a big gap to improve so far =)

Next weekend we will be in Barcelona, me as supporter and the beasts Alex and Carlos will fly around the city in the Zurich Marathon.
Im really looking forward to support them and Im pretty sure they will smash the chrono.

Above the training summary.

Have a great week everyone!

Cheers,
Dani Juan
