TRAINING 2014: 21 to 27 April

ENG: Hi!

Im back in Nuremberg and seems that sweating the Easter’s extras and feeling good again.

I landed on Tuesday and started the routine again, with this sensation of be tired and weak in the first days, not only in training but also in the other day-to-day stuff. Thus, the first sessions were like those ones before christmas, sweating more than usual, getting your heart rate high and feeling like an elephant running.
It’s incredible how much can affect one week going out of your routine (sleeping and eating times between others). Anyway, as I said, be at home is a pleasure and it’s worths. I would do again and again and…again =)

The Swimming was worse than usual, basically because I arrived to all the sessions so tired for the running or the bike one, and if you are fighting with the water instead of slide…

The Bike is back. It was not possible to ride to the office, but I switched those sessions for the roll. We started again with the spinning classes on Thursday, in the New Adidas Gym, with an amazing bikes and a huge screen with real riding images.

The Running, I started slow and with some problems in the quads, but on Thursday I made a couple of brick sessions Bike-Treadmill and on Friday and Saturday I ran as usual. I guess after some trainings my body readapt to the normal mood.

The Transition of Saturday was planned easy, with 90k bike + 12k running. I went out with David and we actually made the bike soft, but the brick to the running was faster than expected, with a 10k in 41′ and finishing in 52′. He’s stronger in the running and was “launching kisses” as Carlos would say in the park. Great session by the way =)

Here the summary:

Monday: Total Rest
Tuesday: Bike [1h45′] + Run [10k]
Wednesday: Bike [45′] + Swim [3.000m]
Thursday: Bike+Run [20k+4k]  + Bike+Run [40k+4k] – Both in brick Static bike+treadmill
Friday: Bike [15k]  + Core [30′] + Run [9k] with (4×800+4×400+4×200) + Swim [2.000m] Drills
Saturday: Bike [90k] + Run [12k] – Transition Bike-Run
Sunday: Swim [3.600m] + Run [12k]
TOTAL: Sw [8,6k] + Bi [230k] + Ru [51k] + Gym [30′]

Cheers,
Dani Juan

SPA: Holas!

Dani Juan
